2006: Came on strong at the end of the season as he earned a spot in the starting lineup ... Started the final six matches of the season ... Streak began on April 6 vs. BYU as he came off the bench to record 10 kills and four block assists while hitting .300 (10-4-20) in the 49ers five-game win over the No. 2-ranked Cougars ... The next night he had 20 kills and eight digs in the four-game win over BYU ... had a career-high 27 kills and hit .375 (27-9-48) in the MPSF Tournament final against UCLA ... Had 26 kills and hit .568 (26-5-37) in the MPSF quarterfinal win over BYU on April 22 in the Walter Pyramid ... hit double digits in kills in the final seven matches of the season ... Was named the Sports Import/AVCA National Player of the Week on April 24 after his performance against the Cougars in the MPSF quarterfinals ... In the final seven matches of the year Hutton averaged 5.29 kills per game while hittin g.378 (127-42-225) ... He also had 12 aces in that span, including a career-high four against Stanford ... Had 13 kills in a five-game win at UC San Diego... Had 12 kills in win over IPFW at the Active Ankle Beach Bash... Season-high 29 total attempts at UCSD... Season-high three digs at UCSD as well... Tallied four block assists twice, once vs. IPFW and other vs. UC San Diego... Hit a season-high .280 (12-5-25) vs. IPFW.

2004: Redshirt Season

High School: Played three seasons of volleyball for head coach Todd Hanson... Helped lead the Barons to a 2001 Sunset League championship and a CIF semi-final appearance as well in 2001... Played three years for Derrick Lucero's Long Beach club team that won the 2003 gold medal in the Junior Olympics.
