2006-07: Appeared in 26 games on the year, averaging 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game • shot .842 (16-19) at the free throw line • scored a season-high six points in the opener against Air Force • tallied five points in home win over UC Davis and five points, two steals and a career-high eight rebounds in the win over Cal State Bakersfield • career-high tying four assists in win at Loyola Marymount • shot .306 (15-49) from the field for the season • had 16 assists and eight steals on the year • had four points against Sacramento State, UCLA, USC and San Jose State.

2005-06: Appeared in 16 games as a true freshman • averaged 1.3 points and 0.7 assists per game while playing an average of seven minutes per game • was a perfect 4-4 from three-point range on the season and dished out 11 assists • in the win over San Francisco State he had a career-high 10 points and four assists • he was 2-2 from three-point range in that contest • in his first collegiate game, he had five points and an assist at UNLV • his one start of the season came on December 30 against Cornell where he finished with two points and two assists in 12 minutes of action • had two assists and a steal in 13 minutes in a home win over Loyola Marymount.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in basketball at Pasadena High School for Coach Tim Tucker • averaged 16 points, five rebounds and seven assists per game last year for the Bulldogs • Pasadena went 27-4 overall and a perfect 10-0 in the Pacific League • an All-CIF performer, Gant led Pasadena to the CIF-SS Division II-AA Championship game where they fell to Dominguez, 57-51 • Pasadena then received a bid to play in the CIF State Tournament, but fell in the first round to Fresno Edison, 62-57 • was named first team All-Pacific League and helped lead the Bulldogs to a No. 10 ranking in the CIF-Southern Section Poll • along the way to the Division II-AA title game, Pasadena defeated Dos Pueblos (55-54), Newport Harbor (51-40), Torrance (55-44) and Valencia (58-39) • as a junior he averaged 14 points and six assists per game.
