Michelle Thompson is in her first year as the director of operations for the Long Beach State cross country team and serves as a volunteer assistant coach for the LBSU distance runners on the track team.
Thompson was an All-Conference cross country runner in 2011, finishing fifth at the Big West Championships.Â
Thompson was a member of the 49er cross country and track and field teams from 2011-13. As a senior, she scored in the 10000m at the Big West Championships, running a personal-best of 37:18.89 to finish eighth.
She ended her indoor career at Long Beach State, ranked third in the 5000m (17:11.86) and fifth in the 3000m (9:52.86).Â
Thompson was an All-Conference cross country runner in 2011, finishing fifth at the Big West Championships.Â
Thompson graduate from Long Beach State in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in marketing.
