LONG BEACH STATE (2021-22): Named the Big West Defensive Player of the Year after an outstanding second season at the Beach … Ranked in the Big West Top 5 during league play in two categories, second in steals at 1.9 per game and fourth in blocked shots at 1.0 per game … Also selected as Honorable Mention All-Big West as a COVID freshman … Averaged 10.5 points per game, third on the team while adding 4.3 rebounds per game … Second on the team with 66 made 3-pointers, shooting 37.1 percent from behind the arc … Started in 29 straight games to end the season … Sank a buzzer-beater in the Big West Tournament semifinals to send the Beach to the championship game … Also made two game-winning free throws to ice a win over UC Riverside, handing LBSU the outright Big West title … Hit double-figures 17 times, the first coming against Missouri State … Made first start of the season against Murray State … Scored 11 points with three blocks in a win over Wright State … Went 10-for-11 from the free throw line while scoring a career-high 27 points at No. 5 UCLA … Put up 13 and 7 against UC Santa Barbara ….
