2006 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt.... did go 0-2 with a 3.05 ERA in 18 appearances for Fairfax in the Summer.

High School: Lettered four years for the Mavericks, as La Costa Canyon won the 2004 Division-I Sectional CIF title... In 2005 he was named first team All-Palomar League as junior after going 6-0 with a 1.66 ERA... went 4-6 with a 3.85 ERA, along with 44 walks and 78 strikeouts over 60 innings as a senior.
