2006 (Redshirt): Redshirt Season.... he did go 0-4 with a 3.19 ERA over 12 games and seven starts for Fairfax in the summer.

High School: Lettered four years in baseball at Trinity High School in Louisville… team reached two state Final Fours in 2004 and 2005…. three-time All-Region team selection went 7-0 with a 1.12 ERA, ranking third in the state in ERA in 2005…. also lettered two seasons for football powerhouse, which were three-time state champions from 2001 to 2003.

Personal: Son of Jodi and Mark Hewitt… father, Mark, is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy… major is management.
