Dr. Josh Snodgrass, Head Team Physician Dr. Snodgrass was born and raised in Southern California and has strong ties to the Action Sports industry through surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and mountain biking. He completed his Sports Medicine training while helping to found the Long Beach Memorial Sports Medicine Fellowship with Dr. Jeff Lai in 2015. Dr. Snodgrass took over as the Director for the physician training program in 2019. Dr. Snodgrass is experienced in sports concussion evaluations as a certified IMPACT consultant as well as diagnostic and procedural ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections. He is also Titleist Performance Institute Certified, which is the world's leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. Dr. Snodgrass is excited to be a part of the Long Beach State Sports Medicine Team. |

Dr. Kim Fodran, Team Physician A Los Angeles native, Dr. Kimberly Fodran rejoined the CSULB Sports Medicine Team in 2015, after completing her Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship training at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. She is a team physician for Long Beach State Athletics and is Chief of Medical Staff at CSULB Student Health Services. Dr. Fodran received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at HonorHealth Medical Center, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. |

Dr. Shannon Carroll, DO, Team Physician Originally from the east coast, Dr. Shannon Carroll joined CSULB and Student Health Services after completing her fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine with Auburn University in Alabama. Dr. Carroll received her degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM) and loves working with our Long Beach State athletes. |

Dr. Ellexis Khan, MD, Team Physician Dr. Khan attended medical school at Ross University in Dominica, and went on to complete her residency in family medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After her residency, she completed her fellowship in primary care sports medicine at UC Irvine. She chose a career in primary care sports medicine because of her passion for athletics. She joined the team at CSU Long Beach in August 2021 and is excited to continue to serve the student-athletes on and off the field. |
