Casey Rice has been the director of the Long Beach State pep band since 2013. He also spent three years as the assistant director from 2008-10.

Rice is responsible for the organization, musical direction, recruitment and day-to-day activities for the LBSU pep band. He graduated from Long Beach State with a bachelor's degree in music in 2012.
