Outdoor: Finished 10th in the pole vault (15-7) and 16th in the long jump (21-1 1/4) at the Big West Championships ...  Finished second in his pole vault flight (15-1) at the Trojan Invitational ... Won the pole vault with a career-best 16-0 3/4 and was 10th in the long jump (21-1 1/4) at the Big West Challenge ... Placed 13th in the long jump (22-3 1/2) and 20th in the pole vault (14-7 1/4) at the Beach Invitational ... Was 14th in the pole vault (15-7) at the Triton Invitational ... Finished third in the pole vault (15-7) and 16th in the long jump (21-5 1/2) at the Steve Scott Invitational ... Named Academic All-Conference.
Indoor: Qualified for the MPSF Championships in the 60m hurdles but did not advance to the finals after running 9.17 during the prelims ... Was 14th in the long jump at the MPSF's (21-3 1/4) ... Won the pole vault (15-7) and finished fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.55) at the NAU Team Challenge (8.55) ... Was second in the 60m hurdles (8.56) and third in the long jump (23-0) at the Mountain T's Invitational  ... Named to the MPSF All-Academic Team.
2008 (Junior)
Outdoor: All-Big West performer with a third-place finish in the decathlon at the league championships ... Also a conference qualifier in the pole vault and long jump ... Placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 23-2 1/2 ... Had a runner-up finish in the javelin with a season-best of 186-4 at the Big West Challenge.Â
Prior to LBSU: Competed on the track and field team at Lane Community College for two years ... Was a nine-time NWAACC All-American.
High School: Four-year letter winner at Siuslaw High School ... Established personal bests of 15-06.00 in the pole vault, 22-04.00 in the long jump, and 14.57 in the 110m hurdles ... Also lettered three years in football ... Named first-team All-4A Far West League wide receiver, defensive back and return specialist in 2003.
Personal: Majoring in American studies.
