Men’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Schedule

Long Beach State hosts two West Coast Conference teams before a packed Big West slate.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Men's Basketball has announced their 2026-27 schedule which features 22 Big West contests, two strong non-conference opponents and a number of marquee road games.
Long Beach State will get a preseason tuneup on the road at San Diego State in an exhibition game on October 28, and then open the season on the road at Utah in the first of two games against Power 4 opposition. After a trip to Montana State, Long Beach State hosts their first home game against Pacific on November 11, and then heads to Pauley Pavilion to face UCLA on November 16.
The Beach will play in a mid-major tournament hosted by Florida International prior to Thanksgiving, with three games in three days against FIU, Arkansas State and Southern Utah.
Bold Week returns to start December, with the first conference matchup against Utah Valley and a trip to Cal State Fullerton to help fit in the full 22-game slate in the 12-team conference for 2026-27. Trips to San Jose State and Illinois State before a home game against Portland wrap up the non-conference schedule, and then league play proper begins with UC Irvine and UC San Diego, as the Beach will play with no byes on Thursday and Saturday through the end of the season.
