LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Long Beach State has officially signed Lara Perian, a 5-9 guard from Romania who brings professional experience and international competition to the Beach.

On the international stage, Perian has represented Romania as a member of the country's U18 National Team. Most recently, she competed at the 2025 FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket Division B Championship in Lithuania, averaging 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while helping Romania compete against some of Europe's top emerging talent.
