Long Beach State Men’s Golf Earns Fourth Seed In Columbus Regional

Ranked No. 23 entering the NCAA postseason, Long Beach State rewarded with a high seed line for the NCAA Regionals.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – After a memorable and dominant performance at the Big West Championship, Long Beach State Men's Golf was rewarded with a four seed in the NCAA Regionals, and will play at the Columbus Regional to continue their postseason.
Hosted by Ohio State, the regional round will be held over three days on May 18-20 at the OSU Golf Club. Florida is the top seed, followed by Arizona State, Stanford and the Beach. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.
Columbus Regional (seeded in the following order):
1. Florida
2. Arizona State
3. Stanford
4. Long Beach State [Big West Conference]
5. Florida State
6. Utah
7. South Carolina
8. California
9. South Florida
10. Memphis
11. Oregon
12. Illinois State [Missouri Valley Conference]
13. Wright State [Horizon League]
Long Beach State is making their eighth appearance in an NCAA Regional. It's the programs fourth straight trip to the postseason as a team and the fifth in the last six seasons. The Beach also has five National Championship appearances, with the goal for Rob Murray's squad to return to the championship round for the first time since 1982.
