The AVCA Player of the Year award is one of the highest individual honors in college volleyball, with semifinalists representing the top athletes across the nation. Varga's selection places him among an elite group and highlights his role as a driving force behind Long Beach State's national prominence.
Varga and the Beach will continue their push toward the postseason as they look to build on a strong regular season and compete for a national championship.
