As a true freshman, Bahr led Snow College to a 29-5 record last season.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach State Men's Basketball Staff has added their first new commitment for the 2026-27 season, bringing in junior college guard Blake Bahr from Snow College.
Blake Bahr | Guard | 6-2, 190 | Keller, Texas
Blake Bahr has three seasons of eligibility remaining after spending his first year at Snow College. The point guard for the Badgers, Bahr played in every game and averaged 3.5 assists per game as Snow College went 29-5 overall, reaching the NJCAA National Tournament's second round. Bahr had nearly a 4:1 assist-to-turnover ratio, and shot 38.5% from three for a prolific scoring team that averaged 92.0 points per game, with Bahr guiding the offense.
Acker on Bahr:
"Blake Bahr is an older sophomore whose maturity, toughness, and steadiness show up every possession. At the point guard position, he brings poise, discipline, and a real command of the game. His assist-to-turnover ratio reflects his ability to value the basketball and make the right reads. He also gives you a legitimate shooting threat, which stretches defenses and makes him even harder to guard. Most importantly, Blake impacted winning. With Blake running the point, Snow College had a tremendous season, and his leadership, toughness, and consistency were a major part of that success."
Bahr is the first summer addition for Long Beach State, joining two returning players in Christian Jones and JJ Chaikovsky along with the November signing class.
