Five From Long Beach State Men’s Volleyball To Compete At U21 World Championships

Five players from Long Beach State will be representing four different nations in China.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Three returning players from the 2025 NCAA National Champions and two new recruits will be representing their nations at the upcoming FIVB U21 World Championships in China.
 
Players from Long Beach State will be representing four different nations at the tournament beginning on August 20.
 
Last season's starting libero and All-American Kellen Larson will be competing for the United States alongside incoming middle blocker Jackson Cryst who was a two-sport star at Sage Hill High School in Newport Beach. Another newcomer, Wojciech Gajek will be representing Poland. All-American Daniil Hershtynovich will be playing with Canada, while Alex Kandev has been chosen for the Bulgaria roster.
