Long Beach State’s Logan King Named to Team Canada for U21 Pan Am Cup and World Championship

Redshirt freshman selected among Canada’s top 12 to compete in Costa Rica and Indonesia this summer
HAMILTON, Ontario—Long Beach State's Logan King has been selected to the Volleyball Canada Women's U21 National Team to compete at the U21 NORCECA Pan Am Cup in Costa Rica from July 20–28 and the FIVB U21 World Championship in Indonesia from August 7–17.
King, a redshirt freshman, was one of 12 players chosen from an 18-woman U21 training camp at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, where they faced off July 14–19 for roster spots.
A Newmarket, Ontario, native, King and her teammates will open the NORCECA U21 Pan American Cup in Costa Rica against the United States on July 22 and will face Chile on July 23 and Puerto Rico on July 24.
Volleyball Canada will then compete at the Women's U21 World Championship in Indonesia, beginning August 6 against Argentina. Team Canada will also face host team Indonesia on August 8, followed by match ups against Vietnam on August 9 and a doubleheader versus Puerto Rico and Serbia on August 11.
