Turner Named Big West Track Athlete of the Week

Turner earns the honor for the third time.
LONG BEACH, Calif.—Long Beach State's Rahni Turner was named Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week on March 25.
Turner won the 100m hurdles at USC's Ron & Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational Mar. 22. She ran a season-best time of 13.30. Her mark is currently the sixth-fastest in Division I this season. This is the third time Turner has been named Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week in her career.
The Beach begins a three-meet week Wednesday at the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist. LBSU is also at Texas State's Bobcat Invitational and UCI's Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic.
