Game Time Moved For Thursday’s Women’s Basketball Game With UC Santa Barbara

Tip time has been moved to 4 p.m. in anticipation of heavy rains in the area.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – In anticipation of heavy rain in Long Beach beginning on Thursday and continuing through Friday, Long Beach State Athletics has announced that the Women's Basketball game scheduled for Thursday, February 23 will be pushed up and begin at 4 p.m.
The expectation is that the move will allow the contest to be played inside of the primary arena for Long Beach State, the Walter Pyramid, with no disruptions due to water on the court similar to the one that required a venue change earlier this season when Long Beach State Women's Basketball hosted Hawai'i on January 14. That game was moved to the Goldmine, which remains an option for the program if absolutely necessary.
The Long Beach State Men's Basketball contest against CSUN scheduled for Saturday, February 25 at 4 p.m. will remain at that time inside of the Walter Pyramid.
Any further changes to location or game time for either contest will be relayed in a timely manner both through the Long Beach State social media channels as well as at www.longbeachstate.com.
