Long Beach State, the Big West and ESPN continue to partner to bring live events from LBSU Athletics into your home.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State has announced the remaining schedule for 2023, with 58 events tentatively scheduled from January 1 to the end of the 2022-2023 season.
All Long Beach State basketball games, both men's and women's, will continue to be broadcast under the current schedule running through the end of the regular season when Women's Basketball hosts UC Davis on Saturday, March 4.
Key Men's Volleyball matches will be broadcast live, as the Beach chases a fourth national championship from the program. Home matches against other Top 15 teams include Loyola, UCLA, USC and UC Santa Barbara, all of which will be broadcast live.
18 games from the Dirtbags are scheduled to be broadcast live throughout the season, starting with Opening Day as the Beach hosts Wichita State. 11 softball games including titanic clashes with UCLA and Oregon will be covered, and the Beach is bringing Women's Water Polo into the mix, with games against Princeton, CSUN and Brown slated for coverage this season.
Long Beach State's current video capabilities limit the coverage of events to one location at a time. That means a decision will be made later in the season between two critical home series in May, as the Dirtbags host UC Santa Barbara at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field while Long Beach State Softball faces their rivals to close out the regular season, hosting Cal State Fullerton on May 12 and 13.
