Hannah Ko Named Second Team All-Big West

LONG BEACH, Calif. – After a strong second season at Long Beach State, Hannah Ko was named All-Big West for the second time in her career, earning second-team honors as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

                Ko started off the season with the top finish on the team at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate. Her season really took off after returning for the spring. After a 23rd place finish at The Gold Rush, second on the squad, Ko then led the Beach with a 16th place finish at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Hawaii.

                With a one-under par 71 to kick off the Fresno State Classic, Ko recorded her first Top 10 finish of the year with a one-over par 217 through three rounds to take sixth place at the Belmont Country Club. She then closed the year with a seventh-place finish at the Big West Championship, leading the way for the fourth time in the eight tournament she played on the year for the Beach.

                Ko earned Honorable Mention All-Big West as a true freshman in 2019. She then opted out for the 2021 season following the interrupted 2020 campaign.
