Maddi Utti Collects Second Big West Conference Player of the Week Award

Utti averaged a double-double last week with 19.0 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game for the Beach
IRVINE, Calif. – Maddi Utti was named Big West Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season after having a huge week for Long Beach State in which she averaged a double-double (19.0 points per game, 10.0 rebounds per game).
Utti, a senior forward, finished the week totaling 38 points, 20 rebounds, seven steals, six assists, and one block as she led LBSU to a 1-1 record.
The Seaside, Ore., native kicked off the week with her third 20-point performance of the season as she led the Beach with 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and five steals in a 68-54 road victory at UC Santa Barbara. Utti followed up that performance with a 17-point, 13-rebound, two-steal, and one-block showing at CSUN on Saturday afternoon.
