Women’s Track And Field Honored As USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

The women’s team has earned the award for 24 consecutive seasons, tied for the most in the award’s history.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the 2020 National All-Academic Team recipients, and once again Long Beach State's track and field program has been recognized for its success in competition and in the classroom.
The women's program was named an NCAA All-Academic Team for the 24th consecutive season, once again highlighting the academic drive of the program.
In order to achieve All-Academic status, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which Long Beach State's women have accomplished in every season since 1997 when the award was first instituted.
