Dirtbags First Pitch Banquet Scheduled for February 7

Dirtbag Nation will get the opportunity to meet the 2020 Dirtbags and help kick off the new season on Feb. 7 at the Dirtbags First Pitch Banquet. The event will be held from 5:30-10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Long Beach Airport and the RSVP deadline is Feb. 3.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – One week prior to the start of the 2020 baseball season, Dirtbag fans will get the chance to meet this year's team and celebrate the upcoming season at the First Pitch Banquet, hosted Feb. 7 at the Holiday Inn Long Beach Airport (2640 N Lakewood Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90815). As Long Beach State Baseball is set to begin a new era under head coach Eric Valenzuela and his staff, Dirtbags alumni, fans and supporters will have the opportunity to interact with Dirtbag players and coaches at the banquet while enjoying dinner, a live and silent auction, plus live music and dancing.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with the start of a silent auction, where guests can bid on exclusive Dirtbags gear and memorabilia. Complimentary beer and wine will be offered all evening long during the banquet, along with a cash bar available for mixed drinks. Live music will be provided by local musician Doug Means.
Players will be introduced at 6:45 p.m., followed by the start of dinner at 7. The live auction will run from 8-8:45, with dancing going until 10 p.m. Following the banquet, there will be an exclusive after party at the VUE Bar, located on the top floor of the hotel. All guests are welcome to attend the after party, which will be reserved for banquet guests only.
General admission tickets are available online now, and other underwriting opportunities with exclusive Beach Athletic Fund benefits are also available.
