Join us Saturday evening for the annual event, helping to raise money for student-athlete scholarships.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State's largest fundraiser for student-athlete scholarships is entering its 25th year, and the Beach would like to welcome everyone to the Walter Pyramid for a party unlike any other this Saturday, September 14!
Since the Walter Pyramid was the proud host of the 2019 NCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship on the tradition weekend of Jewels of the Night, the department of athletics made the decision to reschedule Jewels of the Night to the fall, and we're excited that it will play a big part in helping to kick off a successful 2019-20 athletic calendar.
Everything that you've come to expect from Jewels of the Night will be returning, with restaurants from across the city providing food and refreshments. The Beach would like to extend special thanks to three key restaurant partners, as Legends and Naples Rib Company continue to return for over 15 years, as well as Parker's Lighthouse, who have played a part in Jewels of the Night for all 25 years.
With over 500 guests already committed, attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on numerous silent auction items, as well as some great live auction items as well. Among the items offered will be the chance to spend a day on the water with Dr. Chris Low of the CSULB Shark Lab, as well as the chance to get your own custom-fit and personalized, 2019 Men's Volleyball Championship ring same as the players from the Long Beach State back-to-back champions.
The Beach is excited to welcome back LBSU Athletics Hall of Famer Nadia Link from Women's Soccer as our featured speaker on the evening as well as partnering with the 562.org as the hosts of the evening.
Tickets are still available for those wishing to join us on this historic evening. You can PURCHASE HERE or buy on the evening. Doors open at 5:30!
