Beach Soccer Hosts Scrimmage vs. FC Golden State Wednesday

Fans can get their first look at the 2019 Long Beach State women’s soccer team on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. as the Beach hosts Golden State FC on George Allen Field.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Beach will get a preseason tune-up on Wednesday night on George Allen Field, hosting FC Golden State for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. FC Golden State is a team from the Women's Professional Soccer League (WPSL) and features former Long Beach State All-American Nadia Link on the roster.

Long Beach State opens the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 22 at Arizona and the team's home opener is set for Sunday, Aug. 25 against No. 4 UCLA.

Wednesday's scrimmage is a ticketed event, with tickets available at LongBeachState.com/tickets. Fans are also reminded to observe the Clear Bag Policy in effect at all Long Beach State athletic events.
