Three Women’s Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

For the second consecutive year, Long Beach State Women’s Golf had a trio of golfers named WGCA All-American Scholars. Juniors Holland Shourds and Euna Pak plus freshman Hunter Pate each received the honor for the Beach.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach State women's golf team had three of its golfers named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Monday. The honor was given to juniors Holland Shourds and Euna Pak, along with freshman Hunter Pate.

Shourds and Pak each picked up the second All-American Scholar honor of their careers after both golfers were recognized last season. The Beach had three recipients in 2018 as Breann Fox was also an All-American Scholar.

Student-athletes must have a GPA of at least 3.50 to be eligible for All-American Scholar honors. LBSU's three selections for the 2018-19 season gave the Beach the second-most selections in the Big West Conference this season. The honors add to a successful season that included a second consecutive Big West team title, Big West individual title and NCAA Regional appearance.
