Women's Golf Co-Hosts Rebel Beach Invitational With UNLV

Long Beach, Calif. - Women's Golf travels to Las Vegas, Nev. this week to participate in the Rebel Beach Invitational for their first action in two weeks. The field will see 12 teams partake in the tournament and will be held at the Spanish Trail County Club.
The two-day tournament will have participants compete in threesomes, playing 36 holes Monday, February 26, and a single round of 18 on Tuesday, February 27.
Pairings for each round will be determined by team score. The low four individual scores will determine the tam scores for each round.
Long Beach State looks to pick up where they left off at The Gold Rush tournament in which the Club finished fourth out of 14 teams and saw two of its athletes, Cara Barker (T7) and Holland Shourds (T10), land in the Top 10. Junior Haley Tygret (T12) finished just outside the Top 10, but completed the tournament with a solid third round, shooting one-under par (71).
The Rebel Beach Invitational field will be represented by co-hosts Long Beach State and UNLV, BYU, Colorado State, Idaho, Kennesaw State, Nevada, Reno, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Ole Miss, Wyoming and Big West opponent UC Irvine.
