Long Beach State Moves To 2-0 At Triton Invitational

San Diego, Calif. -- Long Beach State continued its strong play at the Triton Invitational Saturday afternoon as the Beach defeated UC Davis 13-10.
The Beach had a closer match as they led 4-3 after the first quarter and 8-6 at halftime. Austin Stewart led the team at halftime with three goals, while Chandler Kaltenbach added two. Jacob Fujioka, Mitchell Holden and Jack Dodson each scored once.
In the third quarter, Fujioka netted two goals for a hat trick in the game. Stewart scored once to bring his total to four , while Keegan Wicken scored once to give the Beach a comfortable 12-7 lead heading into the final quarter.
The Beach gave up three goals in the fourth quarter, but that was enough as Duncan Lynde scored once to give Long Beach State the comfortable 13-10 win.
Long Beach State will be back in action tomorrow morning when it takes on Cal at 9:15 a.m.
