
Chian Falls In Second Round At NCAA Tucson Regional

MARANA, Ariz. -- Long Beach State senior Daniel Chian carded a 77 in Tuesday's second round of the NCAA Tucson Regional tying for 34th place at The Gallery Golf Club.
Chian fell 19 spots in the standings after tying for 15th in Monday's opening round. The Covina, Calif. native started the day from the par-four 10th, as he would birdie the 11th to go one-under through his first four holes. Chian would double-bogey the 14th and bogey on the 16th and 18th holes to go three-over.
After making the turn onto the front-nine, Chian would post eight consecutive pars before closing out the round with his second double-bogey.
Franklin Huang of Stanford leads the field of 75 players by one shot with an eight-under 136.
Final round play concludes on Wednesday, with Chian teeing off at 9:01 a.m. (PT) from the 10th tee
