LONG BEACH - Long Beach State head women's soccer coach Mauricio Ingrassia has announced the schedule for the spring season.
"Our spring season is an important part of the year for our program," Ingrassia said. "It's a time for us to find pieces of the puzzle for fall, and also a time to find answers of ourselves. These games are some of the most competitive games you can find anywhere. The highlight may be playing against the U.S. U18 National Team in April at StubHub Center. We are anxiously looking forward to this spring season."
The defending Big West Conference Champions kicks off the spring campaign down south, with a Friday night match up at San Diego State on Mar. 11.
Two weeks later, the Beach will host the Pepperdine Waves at George Allen Field on Friday (Mar. 25) night.
On Mar. 10, the 49ers head to Westwood to face UCLA , before coming home to George Allen Field on Mar. 16 to host San Diego. Three days later, the Beach will make the short drive to Carson for a Tuesday contest against the U.S. Women's U18 National Team at StubHub Center.
LBSU will finish the spring season with a Friday (Mar. 22) doubleheader at George Allen Field as the 49ers will host Cal State L.A. at 11 a.m. and the Alumni Team at 7 p.m.
