48 Student-Athletes Honored As Academic All-Conference

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Long Beach State Athletics had 48 student-athletes honored as 2015 Big West Academic All-Conference when the conference released its biannual list. The Big West Conference announced winter and spring Academic All-Conference Teams on Tuesday.
To be eligible for Academic All-Conference recognition, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA, have attained a sophomore standing academically, completed at least one full year at a member institution and competed in at least half of their team's contests.
With the 12 Beach student-athletes to earn the distinction in the fall, Long Beach State had 60 total student-athletes earn Academic All-Conference honors during the 2014-15 school year.
