Lihu'e, KAUA'I - Long Beach State finished in 13th place at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate at Wailua Golf Course on Friday afternoon.
For the second straight day, the 49ers fell in the standings after placing eighth after the opening round and 11th after the second round.
LBSU improved by seven shots for a final round score of 301 to complete the three-day tournament at 39-over-par 903.
Twenty-third ranked California swept both team and individual titles as the Golden Bears finished at 12-under 852, leading the field of 17 teams by seven shots over No. 31 New Mexico in second and 11 strokes over No. 24 UNLV in third.
For the second straight day, junior Kevin Lee was the top player for the 49ers, tying for 43rd after shooting a 77 for a 9-over 225.
Senior Kevin Techakanokboon improved by 10 shots for a 73 to finish one shot behind at 10-over, tying for 49th.
Senior JJ Holen carded a 77 to tie for 60th at 13-over, while junior Daniel Chian and sophomore Agostino Milazzo tied for 70th at 16-over.
California's Shotaro Ban captured individual medalist with an 8-under 208, leading the field of 92 players by two shots.
LBSU returns to action Mar. 2-3, hosting the 19th Del Walker Intercollegiate Golf Classic at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach.
