Q: What interested you in coming to Long Beach State?
A: There is such a great tradition and rich history at this program and I think Brian is one of the greatest coaches in the history of the sport. Learning from him and being a part of this program as it returns to the top is what interested me in becoming a part of this program. I want to contribute to the tradition.
Q: What did you learn from your coaching experience within the club ranks that you’ll plan to bring to Long Beach State?
A: I think the most important thing I learned from coaching club was how to develop relationships with players, specifically, how to coach each player in a manner that enabled them to get the most of their ability.
Q: Since you have joined the Beach family, how have you enjoyed Long Beach?
A: I have loved Long Beach so far, everyone I have met has been so welcoming and wonderful. The staff, specifically, Brian and Erika have been amazing and I already feel extremely comfortable around them.
