Two local prep stars and Cyprus national team player have signed on to play at Long Beach State starting in 2015-16. LBSU, currently ranked No. 18 in the nation, introduces its three newest volleyball student-athletes Peyton Grahovac, Megan Kruidhof and Zoi Konstantopoulou. Meet the trio of signees below.

"I am looking forward to playing in the Pyramid and playing for one of the best coaches of all time. I had always dreamt of meeting Brian Gimmillaro, let alone playing for him. So I can't wait to learn so much from him, as well as playing with some of the best volleyball players in the country."
"I have wanted to go to Long Beach State since I was 10 years old and just starting to play volleyball. I was a big Misty May fan and knew she graduated from here. I went to the summer volleyball camps and walking into the Pyramid that first summer was amazing. Actually getting to meet the players from the team, who I thought were famous, was such an inspiration. Later on, I knew I didn't want to go away for college to play volleyball. Long Beach State is both a great volleyball program and close to home. One of the first words out of my mouth after being offered the scholarship was, 'See mom, dreams really do come true.'"
"I'm most looking forward to the competition of the Big West Conference, the life-long friends I will make and the support of my family since I am a home town girl. I am also thrilled to be playing for Brian Gimmillaro and Erika Dillard and am really looking forward to continuing the tradition of winning at Long Beach State."

"The reason I chose Long Beach State is I believe it is a perfect fit for me. It's an extraordinary place and a really good university. Moreover, it has a great athletic history and strong teams in both indoor and sand volleyball."
"I am most looking forward to going through this whole college experience as an athlete and becoming a part of this amazing team. I really want to work on my athletic skills and evolve as a player."
