Men's Volleyball Banquet Set for Tuesday, May 7

LONG BEACH - The Long Beach State men's volleyball team will hold its end-of-the-year banquet on Tuesday, May 7, at McKenna's On the Bay.

Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m., while dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost for the banquet is $40 per person and $40 for player sponsors. Space is limited, so please RSVP to Katie Tuller at (562) 985-7976 or katie.tuller@csulb.edu as soon as possible and no later than noon on Monday, May 6.

Long Beach State (24-8) wrapped up one of its best seasons in recent history last weekend. The 49ers advanced to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation finals for the first time in seven years. They were the runners-up in both the MPSF Tournament and the conference's regular-season standings. LBSU also posted its most wins in a season since going 28-7 in 2004.
