Softball Adds Two Fall Showcase Camps

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State softball has announced two new showcase camps opening this fall. The 49ers will hold the first camp on Saturday, November 16, and the second on Monday, January 20.The winter camp on January 20 will be held on the observed holiday for Martin Luther King Jr.
Long Beach State softball is offering two new showcase camps. Each athlete will be able to display their abilities and work ethic. You will train using many of the same methods and facilities that the Long Beach State team utilizes. The camp will also consist of skill & game evaluation,an educational clinic/Q&A focused on the recruiting needs of a NCAA Division I athlete,and a tour of our campus. Instruction is conducted by the Long Beach State coaching staff. Participants will also be divided into teams for evaluations of their performance in game situations. We will offer a low coach to camper ratio so therefore the number of players for this showcase is limited only to the FIRST 40 campers registered. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet the Long Beach State coaching staff and familiarize yourself with the 49ers softball program. The Showcase will provide you with valuable instruction for your development as a player and an opportunity for you to display you talents.
