SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - Long Beach State sophomore Daniel Chian is currently tied for sixth-place at the Bill Cullum Invitational as second round play was suspended due to darkness on Monday at Wood Ranch Golf Club.
Several groups had one hole to finish that will take place on Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m. Final round play will now be a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m.
LBSU is currently tied for 11th with Seattle after recording an opening round of 4-over-par 292 to tie for eighth. San Diego leads the 20-team field by six shots over No. 24-ranked Arizona State and Cal State Fullerton tied for second.
Chian carded an even-72 in Monday's opening round to tie for 18th that was highlighted by three birdies, 12 pars and three bogeys.
Sophomore Kevin Lee recorded a team low 67 to tie for first after posting seven birdies for the round with nine pars and just two bogeys.
Junior JJ Holen tied for 57th after shooting a 75, followed by freshmen Agostino Milazzo and Andrew Stanfield carding a 78, tying for 86th.
