LONG BEACH, Calif. - Four players scored multiple goals for Long Beach State to lead the 49ers past Navy 15-7 at the Campus Pool Thursday night.
Dan Matulis led the 49ers (10-1) with four goals. Matulis has now scored multiple goals in 10 of LBSU's 11 games. Devin Mefford added a season-high three goals, while Spencer White chipped in three as well. Milos Vrzic found the net twice to help LBSU to its fourth straight win.
Balint Meszaros recorded 13 saves for the 49ers to push his total to 106 for the season.
Long Beach State returns to action Saturday against No. 8 Pacific to kick off the SoCal Tournament in Santa Barbara at 9:20 a.m. at Dos Pueblos High School.
