49er Athletic Club launches 2012-13 Campaign

Over the years, the faithful supporters of Long Beach State have helped maintain the vision of championships through scholarships, as well as the completion of capital projects and academic success. In 2011-12 alone, 49er Athletic Club annual fund support increased by 13 percent, 49er Athletic Club membership climbed by 20 percent, and 42 percent of current donors increased their gifts from the previous years.
"The Elevate campaign is an opportunity for our donors and fans to support our continued rise amongst the nation's elite both in academics and athletics," said Assistant Athletics Director, Dedan Brozino. "This program will help support our student-athletes and their future, while helping us to remain competitive at the highest levels in the classroom and in competition."
Within the Elevate campaign, fans will be able to bolster their support of scholarships, operations and capital projects in any of the following ways during the 2012-13 fiscal year:
- Elevate your current 49er Athletic Club gift to the next level of benefits
- Elevate last year's 49er Athletic Club gift by 10%
- Elevate your support of Long Beach State Athletics by joining the 49er Athletic Club with a minimum annual gift of $100
- Elevate our future by creating a planned gift to benefit Long Beach State Athletics
Please make your commitment to the Elevate campaign today to support the student-athletes that won back-to-back Big West Conference Commissioner's Cups and are part of the only California State University to score above the required Academic Performance Rate (APR) for five consecutive years.
