Salotti in third place at Classic Club Invitational

PALM DESERT, Calif. - Battling windy conditions all day at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, Bow-Kay Salotti carded a 9-over-par 81 to finish the opening round of the Classic Club Invitational in third place.
The freshman from Palm Desert recorded one birdie and nine pars for the round to remain just four strokes behind individual leader Erin Misheff (+5) of Ashland.
Sophomore Ashley Greer shot a 15-over 87 to tie for 16th. Greer carded one birdie and seven pars as she finished the day in the top-20.
Both Salotti and Greer are playing as individuals.
Final round concludes on Thursday as Greer is scheduled to tee off at 9:55 a.m., while Salotti will begin at 10:04 a.m.
