
LBSU in fourth-place at OGIO-Santa Barbara Intercollegiate

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - After 36-holes of play at the OGIO-Santa Barbara Intercollegiate, the Long Beach State men's golf team is currently in fourth-place going into Tuesday's final round at the Sandpiper Golf Club in Santa Barbara.
LBSU recorded a 296 in Monday's opening round and came back with a 299 in the second round to finish with a total score of 595. Oregon leads the field of 16 teams as the Ducks (561) holds a comfortable 19-stroke lead over tournament host UC Santa Barbara (580) in second and 31 shots over third-place Fresno State (592).
Junior Kevin Roy led the way for the 49ers after shooting rounds of 69 and 74 to finish at 1-under 143, tying for fourth.
Sophomore Kevin Lim is four-shots behind at 3-over, with rounds of 73 and 74 tying for 16th, while classmate Raymond Ho is tied for 27th at 6-over (77-73).
Sophomore Philip Chian (+13) is tied for 61st and Benjamin Lein (+26) finished in 87th.
Jack Dukeminier and Robbie Ziegler of Oregon sits on top of the leaderboard at 5-under, holding a one-stroke lead over teammate Daniel Miernicki.
Final round concludes on Tuesday.
