Baseball adjusts game times in an attempt to avoid rains

Long Beach, Calif. - With heavy rains forecast in the Long Beach area over the next two days, Long Beach State has rescheduled its Friday and Saturday baseball games with No. 17 Arizona, changing the Friday game time to 3 p.m. and the Saturday game time to 6 p.m.

The Friday time was adjusted earlier to attempt to finish the game before rains scheduled to hit the area beginning on Friday night. They will last for approximately 24 hours, leading to the delayed time of game for Saturday's contest, scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

The Sunday game time will remain as scheduled at 1 p.m. Tickets for each game of the weekend will be honored for the day of game.
