Earlier this season Ware had a nine-game double-digit scoring streak snapped when he had nine points in a win at UC Santa Barbara. He started that streak with 14 points against Iowa in the Paradise Jam Tournament, and then followed with 18 against Loyola Marymount, 18 at Washington, a then career-high 22 vs. BYU-Hawaii, 16 at Boise State and 11 at Utah State before scoring 22 at UNC, 10 vs. Saint Mary's and 12 at Arizona State.
