Long Beach State Athletics to debut new-look website Wednesday

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State is proud to announce the development and launch of a fresh look for the home of 49er athletics, www.longbeachstate.com. The 49ers new home will feature the same great content and access to Long Beach State news, statistics and information.
The feel of the website should feel familiar to long-time visitors, with the major elements of the site remaining in place. However, an embedded video player will allow Long Beach State athletics an opportunity to showcase game highlights, press conferences, and other promotional videos such as the popular "No Sick Days" within the main framework of the website.
Additional improvements will come in the form of an updated calendar, which gives fans a greater look at all aspects of upcoming events at Long Beach State. Broadcast information, links for following the contest, and a portal to see much more than just the next two games coming up will be available without scrolling down the page.
Following the suggestions of fans, sport pages will be split for greater access and schedules for all sports will be available from the front page, as well as access to Long Beach State's multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and the official .
Updated content throughout the site should give the website a more modern feel, while still providing the content that fans have come to expect, including hundreds of audio broadcasts per year, Gametracker for seven sports, and of course, recaps and statistics for every single 49er game throughout the year.
