Women's Volleyball Banquet set for Monday, December 14

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State women's volleyball will celebrate a 23rd consecutive NCAA postseason appearance and back-to-back Big West Championships on Monday, December 14th beginning at 6 p.m.

The 49ers are turning to a new format to welcome as many fans as possible. The evening will begin with a program at the Walter Pyramid, honoring the team with the 2009 season slideshow and senior speeches from 2008 first-team All-Big West selections Naomi Washington and Brittney Herzog. That ceremony is free and open to everyone.

Then, following the ceremony at the Walter Pyramid, fans can join the team for a no-host dinner at Spaghettini Italian Grill and Jazz Club in Seal Beach.
