Long Beach, Calif. -
Long Beach State will host its fourth annual Salute To The Services Day on Saturday, January 17 when the men's basketball team plays host to Cal State Northridge in the Walter Pyramid.
Admission to the game is free for military personnel with valid ID, plus one additional free ticket for a guest. Service veterans and members of service organizations also qualify for this free offer. The offer is good on gameday only.
As part of tradition, the 49ers will also be partnering with Soldier's Angels, a military-based charity that helps to send care packages to our active soldiers overseas. Fans are asked to bring new, unopened items to the Pyramid on game day to be included in the care packages. Soldiers' Angels will also be operating a card signing station so that 49er fans may write messages to our those serving our country.
As an added bonus, each time a 49er player nets a three-point basket, one lucky fan in attendance will win an exciting prize.
