49ers to Play U20 National Team on April 12

LONG BEACH--Long Beach State women's soccer will play the U.S. Women's Under-20 National Team at the Home Depot Center on Saturday, April 12 at 11 a.m. Admission is free to the scrimmage.
The Americans are currently preparing for the U20 Women's World Cup to be played this summer. In their last tournament, Team USA fell 3-2 to Canada in the Cyprus Women's Cup Finals in March.
LBSU will play their last home game of the spring on Friday, April 18 at 4:30 p.m. against Azusa Pacific.
The 49ers, who finished last year at 13-7, won their second consecutive Big West regular season title this past season. They have previously played Pepperdine, San Diego State, the Ajax Women's team and San Diego this spring.
The 49ers close out their spring schedule with a trip to Argentina from June 1 to 13. The 49ers continue to solicit donations for the trip and are those interested to call (562) 985-2528.
LBSU has also released its 2008 Fall Schedule, which will feature the home and season opener against Gonzaga (August 22), a road trip to Hawaii, Utah and Arizona and non-conference home games against Harvard, UNLV, BYU, Oregon and San Diego.
