Athletics To Host Basketball Viewing Party

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State is partnering with Legends Sports Bar and Restaurant to provide a site for fans of Beach Basketball to come together and watch as the 49ers take on the No. 13 Syracuse Orangemen this Saturday.
The 49ers, boasting a 4-3 record early in the season, look much improved in their second season under head coach Dan Monson, but they will face their toughest test yet on the road in the Carrier Dome against No. 13 Syacuse. The Orangemen enter the week with a perfect 8-0 record, and boast wins over Florida and last year's defending champion Kansas.
The game will be televised live on ESPNU starting a 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, and fans are welcomed to come join in their support for the 49ers at Legends.
