Ledoux Named Big West Player Of The Week

Long Beach, Calif. - Freshman Caitlin Ledoux was named the Big West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the 49ers to three key conference victories. An outside hitter from Phelan, Calif., Ledoux totaled 52 kills in the three matches.
Ledoux finished with double-digit kills in all three of Long Beach State's matches this week, helping lead the team to three conference victories. On Tuesday, Ledoux led the team with 10 kills in a 3-0 win. She then helped Long Beach State defeat No. 22 Cal Poly, finishing with 20 kills and 12 digs. She would have a second double-double the following evening against UC Santa Barbara, making a career-high 22 kills while adding 14 digs.
Ledoux becomes the first 49er honored with the weekly award this season. It is also the first conference award for the freshman in her career.
