Hoey Tied For 54th
Junior Shoots A 3-Over 75

DAYTONA BEACH, FL-- Long Beach State's Kay Hoey shot a three-over 75 in Thursday's third round of the 2007 NCAA Women's Golf Championships at the LPGA International Legends Course in Daytona Beach, FL. Hoey is tied for 54th place after the third round, which saw just three of the 126 golfers shoot even par or less. Overall Hoey stands at 15-over for the tournament with a 231(79-77-75). Standing in first place is Purdue's Christel Boeljon who has shot a six-under 210 (72-69-69) on the 6,351-yard, par 72 course. Paola Moreno of USC is in second place with a one-under 215 (73-72-70).

On the team front, Duke stands in first place with an 880, followed by Purdue (888) and USC (893). UC Irvine is in 20th place with a 933. The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Friday.
